Keeps Spending + Keeps Savings includes a spending & savings account. Save every time you spend. With each Mastercard® debit card purchase, your transaction is rounded up to the nearest dollar - and the difference is automatically deposited into your savings account.

Spending Account + Savings Account

With each debit card purchase from your Keeps Spending Account, your transaction is rounded up to the nearest dollar. The rounded up portion is deposited into your Keeps Savings Account, allowing you to save automatically.

Service Fee

Keeps Spending

A $6.00 monthly service fee applies, but it can be easily avoided or reduced by:

  • Enrolling in online statements will reduce the monthly service fee by $3.00.
  • Using your Southern Bank Mastercard® debit card 15 times per month will reduce your fee by $3.00.
  • Completing both of the above or maintaining a minimum daily balance of $5,000 will eliminate the $6.00 service fee in full.

Keeps Saving

A $3.00 monthly service fee applies but can be eliminated by:

  • Enrolling to receive online statements.
  • Having at least one round up deposit transfer from Keeps Spending per statement cycle.
  • No more than 3 withdrawals per month.

Disclosures:

Minimum deposit to open is $25.00.
